Salary-related transaction freeze in Workday between March 26 – April 8

Upcoming salary-related transaction freeze in Workday starting March 26 until April 8.

General Wage Increases will be processed in Workday from March 26 – April 8 for the following Employee Groups; CUPE-116, CUPE-2950, & IUOE-115.

To facilitate the process, please complete or cancel any outstanding salary-related transactions in Workday by March 26 (e.g. Compensation Change, Change Job) and avoid entering new salary-related transactions until April 8 for these employee groups. This will ensure that the data is accurate for employees and that transactions are loaded successfully. Pending (in-progress) transactions block the GWI transaction compensation changes and may result in departments being responsible for entering the GWI transaction(s) after the in-progress transactions are completed.

These increases will be reflected on the April 15 pay slips and have an effective date of April 1.
