Resigning or Transfering Out of Staff Finders
Two Weeks Notice Required
Staff Finders requires two (2) weeks notice whether you are resigning or transferring to another department.
If you are resigning, please remember to keep your address updated with Staff Finders for T4 purposes.
Resignation
If you are resigning from Staff Finders AND the University, please complete and submit the UBC Staff Finders Resignation Form. Please remember to sign the form.
Resignation Checklist
- If you are on benefits, take care of any outstanding claims and familiarize yourself with what happens to them when you leave the University.
- Return your keys to Parking and Security or to the department you are assigned to.
- Return your parking pass.
- Return any other University property in your possession.
- Pick up any and all personal belongings.
- Update your address using the Faculty / Staff Self-Service Centre (SSC).
Transfer
If you are resigning from Staff Finders AND transferring to another department within the University, please complete and submit the UBC Staff Finders Transfer Form. Please remember to sign the form.
Transfer Checklist
- Return your keys to Parking and Security or to the department you are assigned to.
- Return any University property in your possession from the current department you are working at.
- Pick up any and all personal belongings.
- Your benefits will be transferred by us directly to the department you are transferring to.
