Other Relocating Employees & Appointees

New appointees (including Post-Doctoral Fellows, Visiting Scholars, Research Associates, Sessional Lecturers and other staff not in senior management positions) have the option to use the University’s designated relocation company, Quality Move Management (QMM), for their moves to and from Canada. The University has arranged for QMM to provide the same negotiated rates and tariffs to new appointees not eligible under Policy #82 Relocation of Faculty Members and Senior Management Staff. Please contact the QMM Relocation Coordinator (see contact information here) for competitive moving quotes.

Important points to note:

  • new appointees should advise the Relocation Coordinator that they are not eligible for Central Relocation Fund allowance
  • purchase Orders are not required for payment of relocation invoice. New appointees will be required to make direct payment to the movers.
