Claims Process for Damaged / Missing Items

UBC’s designated relocation and moving vendor and its partners are doing their best to ensure that the relocations go smoothly. With all of the complexity of moving, there are times when items go missing or get broken in transit.

For Quality Move Management

For moves within Canada, you have 60 days from the date of delivery to file a written claim.

For moves between the United States and Canada, you have 9 months from the date of delivery to submit a written claim.

For moves Internationally, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to submit a written claim.

The following outlines the process for filing a claim for domestic moves within Canada, cross-border moves from the U.S.A. and International moves:

  1. Please contact your Quality Move Management Relocation Coordinator to initiate a claim.
  2. Fill out the claims form and return to the Claims Manager.
