Memo: eRecruit News – Random Reviews of Posted Job Descriptions (April 29, 2010)

The following message is being sent on behalf of Kathleen Cheng, Manager, Compensation.

The implementation of eRecruit for staff positions is now complete, enabling departments to classify their own job descriptions (with the exception of M&P positions and all positions in the Okanagan, which continue to be classified centrally).

As part of our protocol for preserving the integrity of the eRecruit system, the Compensation team will be randomly reviewing job postings on a regular basis, to check for standards and accuracies, and appropriate classification of positions. Doing so will ensure consistency across all department administrators and catch any inaccuracies that need to be amended. We will contact administrators as required, depending on the outcome of the reviews.

If you need more assistance with developing job descriptions and classifying positions, we encourage you to contact the Compensation team so we can work together and provide support where needed. Should you have any further questions on this matter, please contact Kathleen Cheng, Manager, Compensation, at 604-822-8148.
