Subject: July 1, 2017, General Wage Increase for AAPS & Non-Union Groups; General Wage Increase and Economic Stability Dividend Implementation for CUPE 2278


We are pleased to advise that the General Wage Increases for staff who are members of AAPS and CUPE 2278, and the non-union groups of Executive Administrative, Non-Union Technicians/Research Assistants, Farm Workers, and Research Associates, will be implemented by July 1, 2017.

In addition, members of CUPE 2278 will receive a 0.35% Economic Stability Dividend on July 1, 2017.

The increases are as follows, effective July 1, 2017:

AAPS (Management & Professional Staff), Executive Administrative, Non-Union Technicians/Research Assistants, Farm Workers, and Research Associates:

  • General Wage Increase (GWI):  0.5%

CUPE 2278 – Teaching Assistants (Component 1) and English as an Additional Language Instructors in the English Language Institute of Continuing Studies (Component 2):

  • General Wage Increase (GWI):  1.0%
  • Economic Stability Dividend Increase (ESD):  0.35%
