We are pleased to advise that HR and Payroll have implemented the May 1, 2017, General Wage Increases and Economic Stability Dividend for staff who are members of the following employee groups: Management & Professional (represented by AAPS), Executive Administrative,  Non-Union Technicians & Research Assistants, and Farm Workers.

The increases are as follows, and are effective May 1, 2017:

  • Economic Stability Dividend Increase (ESD): 0.35%
  • General Wage Increase (GWI): 1.00%

The final May 1, 2017, pay scales for these employee groups are available on our website at http://www.hr.ubc.ca/compensation/salary-administration/salary-scales/.
