This is a reminder of the last round of General Wage Increase (GWI) and Economic Stability Dividend (ESD) for 2019 for the following employee groups:

General Wage Increase:

  • Aquatic Centre: 1.0% November 1, 2019
  • BCGEU Childcare: 1.0% March 1, 2019
  • BCGEU Okanagan: 1.0% May 1, 2019
  • CUPE 116: 1.0% February 1, 2019
  • CUPE 2278 (TA and ELI): 1.0% July 1, 2019
  • CUPE 2950: 1.0% February 1, 2019
  • Executive Administrative: 1.0% May 1, 2019
  • Farm Workers: 1.0% May 1, 2019
  • IUOE 115: 1.0% February 1, 2019
  • Management & Professional (represented by AAPS): 1.0% May 1, 2019
  • Non-Union Technicians and Research Assistants: 1.0% May 1, 2019

Economic Stability Dividend 0.75%

  • Aquatic Centre: November 1, 2019

These are the final increases under the 2014 mandate.

We ask that you use the updated pay scales for all appointments with a start date of February 1, 2019, or later.
