PD Fund Notices

New Year for Staff PD Funds: April 1, 2018- March 31, 2019

As of April 1, 2018, professional development funds for the following employee groups became available for the 2018-2019 fund year. Please review your applicable fund guidelines prior to claim submission.

  • M&P (AAPS): $550
  • Service Unit Directors / Excluded M&P (non-AAPS): $1,500
  • CUPE 2950: $1,400
  • Executive Administrative: $1,500
  • CUPE 116: $1,000
  • Non-Union Technicians & Research Assistants: $1,000
  • BCGEU Okanagan: $1,200 Regular; $600 Auxiliary

New Funding Cycle Begins for Research Associates: April 1, 2018 – March 31, 2020

Tuition Waivers

The UBC Tuition Fee Waiver provides eligible UBC staff and faculty with tuition assistance for approved UBC undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as non-credit courses offered through UBC Extended Learning and approved Sauder School of Business Continuing Business Studies non-credit courses and certificate programs.
