Self-Guided Tutorials for Popular Software Titles

Online Expert offers self-guided tutorials for the most popular software. Offered online, you can access top-quality software tutorials anytime, from any computer – work or home.

Online Expert tutorials are available free of charge to UBC  CUPE 2950 employees and Executive Administrative employees (non-union secretarial / clerical employees).

Space permitting, all other UBC employees can also access this online training service for a fee.  If you are not a CUPE 2950 or Exec Admin employee,  please contact the coordinator at  your campus for further details about the training access period and user fees.

Sign Up

First determine which of the available tutorials you would like to view. Then send an email to your campus Online Expert Coordinator, listing the following information:

  • your full name
  • employee ID number
  • employment group
  • department
  • work email address
  • list of tutorials you have chosen

Once this information is received, you will be signed up and receive an email with further start-up details. If user fees ($60 charge per annual licencing period) are applicable to your request, you will receive additional payment submission details.

Once enrolled, you will have unlimited access to your chosen tutorials for the duration of our annual licencing period (currently April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012)  and additional tutorials can be added to your profile as needed.
