Our mission is to create a variety of learning opportunities and environments to enhance individual and organizational potential. We invite our clients to gain new understanding, give thought to their work, and invent new ways of working together to advance key aspects of the University vision.

The MOST program offers personal and professional development workshops to UBC employees. We are always looking for innovative and timely learning opportunities for our program, and welcome new workshop proposals from external (non-UBC) facilitators. If you are interested, please complete the following application process. We suggest that you look first to our current offerings to acquaint yourself with the MOST program and Organizational Development & Learning (ODL).

Please note that the MOST program is managed on a not-for-profit basis, and our workshops are offered at minimal charge or at no cost to UBC employees. We believe that our facilitator rates are comparable with other similar organizations.

Submit a Workshop Proposal

If you are interested in going further with your application, please do one of the following:

Complete the Workshop Proposal (DOC) and then forward it as an email attachment to peterg@hr.ubc.ca

OR

Provide us with the following information in an email and send to peterg@hr.ubc.ca:

  • facilitator information (your name, telephone number, email and website)
  • workshop title
  • workshop structure and delivery methodology
  • please describe how your workshop involves the learner
  • what is the subject area of your workshop?
  • why is this subject important for you?
  • what are your personal views / principles on learning and training and how do you apply these?
  • please tell us a little about yourself

We thank you for your interest in the MOST program. If you are submitting a workshop proposal we will make every effort to respond to you as quickly as we can. Please feel free to check our website regularly and to submit other proposals.
