New budgeting options for pool positions
Although it appeared you could set pool positions to budget based on either Hire Data or Position Data, Hyperion ignored your selection and always budgeted by Position Data. HRMS users asked for more flexibility/control in budgeting pool positions, and a programming change was made to allow this.
Effective immediately, pool positions can now be budgeted by either Hire Data or Position Data – Hyperion will accept either. This makes pool positions consistent with options available for non-pooled positions. However, this may cause unexpected changes in Hyperion. If necessary, go into Position Management and update pool positions set to Hire Data – change them to budget based on Position Data.
If you’d like to do a quick check on how your pool positions are set, run HRMS Query 301.
HRMS Word forms fixed
It was recently brought to our attention that 2 of the downloadable HRMS forms were not working properly when using the Office 2016 version of Word. These issues have been corrected.
The specific forms affected were: “Faculty Appointment Form” and “Transfer and Severance Form”.
If you use Word 2016 and have problems with these forms (some fields are missing), please refresh from here.
