Applications are now being accepted for the UBC Healthy Workplace Initiatives Program (HWIP). The program provides start-up funds for all UBC units that are interested in promoting workplace wellbeing.
HWIP has previously funded initiatives such as yoga classes, health challenges, mental health training and creative activities. Last year, UBC staff at the Alex Fraser Research Forest in Williams Lake used HWIP funds to create a xeriscape garden, which combines water conservation with the role plants can have in reducing physical and physiological stress.
If you know of a UBC department or unit that would benefit from HWIP funding, please encourage them to apply by April 18, 2019. For more information, visit the HWIP webpage.
Do you and your colleagues have a great idea for boosting the health and wellbeing of your team? 2018 applications are now being accepted for the Health Workplace Initiatives Program (HWIP), which provides funding for health-related initiatives such as yoga classes, mental health training and bike share programs.
UBC’s staff and faculty healthy activity funding program is accepting applications for 2016. The Healthy Workplace Initiatives Program (HWIP) is a fund available to UBC departments and units to support grass-roots activities that promote wellbeing in the workplace.
The program provides start-up funds and support for health related, sustainable initiatives. Apply today to bring healthy activities and initiatives into your department. Applications close on April 15, 2016. Learn more at our HWIP Funding page.
