Get Comfy & Help Kick Off Move UBC (Feb. 1-28)
Next Thursday, Feb. 1, you’re invited to reach for your go-to active wear, lace up your favourite sneakers, and join your comfortably-attired colleagues in kicking off Move UBC.
Move UBC is an annual, month-long initiative that encourages the entire UBC community to find ways to move more. By sitting less and moving more, we can help to improve our mental and physical health. When your colleagues move along with you, you’ll also enjoy social health benefits.
For more info about Active Wear Day (Feb. 1) and Move UBC events (Feb. 1-28), visit www.move.ubc.ca.

Feedback Requested: Change Room Signage at the New UBC Aquatic Centre
UBC’s new Aquatic Centre will serve the growing residential neighbourhoods on campus, and Aquatic Centre staff are engaging with the aquatic community, pool users and the public as part of the process of developing programming and service levels for the new facility. In collaboration with the UBC Equity & Inclusion Office, the UBC Aquatic Centre is exploring options for signage in the new UBC Aquatic Centre to ensure the Centre is welcoming, respectful and inclusive to all its patrons. Please visit the feedback page to learn more, and to share your feedback on the signage options.
