Professional Development Funds
UBC is committed to providing staff and faculty with improved access to professional development opportunities, through access to professional development funds. Please select your employee group to learn more about the funds available to you.
Professional Development Workshops
Eligible staff and faculty can apply to use their PD funding for these workshops.
LinkedIn Learning offers an online collection of self-guided instructional videos designed to provide staff and faculty with just-in-time resources to assist in a variety of areas, including updating software skills, learning new technology tools, and enhancing workplace business practices.
UBC provides faculty and staff with free and unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning’s learning resources. To start using LinkedIn Learning, visit https://linkedinlearning.ubc.ca and sign in with your CWL.
Staff in most employee groups have access to UBC tuition waivers for credit courses, and for non-credit courses at UBC Extended Learning (as well as select Sauder School of Business Continuing Business Studies courses).
