Today marks the half-way point of the Workplace Experiences Survey window. Thank you to everyone who has taken the survey, and to those who have encouraged colleagues to take the survey. So far, 16.9% of faculty and staff have taken the survey, which leaves lots of opportunity to increase the participation rate UBC-wide as well as at the faculty/department levels.
First and foremost, please be sure to take the survey now and encourage faculty and staff in your area to do the same.
Here are some resources to use during the home stretch of the survey:
- An email reminder for leaders to copy, paste, and send to their teams is available on page 9 of the Leader’s Toolkit
- Invite your teams to join Santa Ono’s Facebook Live event this Friday at 2:00 p.m., as he discusses faculty and staff engagement and answers questions in real-time: https://www.facebook.com/universityofbc/videos/10155756010888704/
- Access digital promotional items, including newsletter content, available in the Communicator’s toolkit
- Share this recent article about faculty and staff engagement, featuring Darren Dahl from the Sauder School of Business: http://faculty-staff.ubc.ca/2017/10/31/the-value-of-engagement-an-interview-with-darren-dahl/
Upon request, printed materials, such as postcards, posters, stickers and buttons, are available. A promotional backdrop is also available to display in your common area for the day, for you to take photos and interact with on social media. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for these materials and they will be sent to you via campus mail.
