From Nov. 1 to 21, 2017, faculty and staff will be invited to participate in the UBC Workplace Experiences Survey. To learn more about the survey, visit ubc.ca/wes.
The Workplace Experiences Survey is the one opportunity that all faculty and staff have to directly share feedback on their experience of UBC as a workplace. It’s important to encourage faculty and staff in your faculty/department to participate in the survey, because greater participation will provide you with a more robust representation of experiences in your unit-level survey reports.
Beginning in October, two toolkits (with tips and instructions) will be available for download at http://focusonpeople.ubc.ca/workplace-experiences-survey/toolkits/. We will announce in HR Network News when these are available.
- The Leader’s Toolkit is being prepared for each department/unit to use in communicating with faculty and staff locally throughout the month of October. This toolkit includes speaking points, frequently asked questions, and email templates.
- The Communicator’s Toolkit is being prepared primarily for campus communicators and others responsible for communications to use in promoting the survey in their local department/unit beginning in mid-October. From newsletter content to printable posters, various content that suits your audience needs will be available.
