Friday is National Employee Appreciation Day. There are a lot of ways for everyone to bring recognition to the workplace every day.
Since January, we have been highlighting a number of ways in which departments at UBC focus on recognition. Recognition can come from managers and supervisors, and equally important is recognition between co-workers as well as recognition of managers and supervisors by members of their teams.
- This week, we highlight how Stephanie Thorpe, PD Funds Coordinator in Human Resources, is using informal thank-you cards to share her appreciation for co-workers’ contributions in the workplace.
