Help re-design of one of UBC’s largest public green spaces!
UBC is re-designing one of the University’s largest public green areas, Library Garden, located between the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre and Koerner Library, between Memorial Road and Agricultural Road. Part of the oldest area of campus, the Garden plays an important role in telling UBC’s story – through the physical design of the space to the types of activities that take place there. The Garden will also be home to the new Indian Residential Schools History and Dialogue Centre.
Sept. 28 – Oct. 12, we are seeking input from the campus community on what is important to you about this area of campus and what opportunities you see for its future.
Join the conversation and help shape one of the largest public green areas on campus by taking the online survey or attending a public open house:
- Open House 1 – Oct. 1, 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m., Irving K. Barber Learning Centre (2nd Floor Foyer)
- Open House 2 – Oct. 8, 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m., Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre (Main Lobby)
