This year,  along with over 170 employers across the country, UBC will be taking part in the Not Myself Today Campaign. The Not Myself Today Campaign will be rolled out at UBC (Vancouver campus) as part of Thrive (Nov. 2-6, 2015) and was developed to focus on reducing stigma and supporting mental health in the workplace.  In advance of the campaign itself, we have access to a number of resources and webinars on topics related to enhancing workplace mental health as well as dealing with difficult situations and conversations.  Watch a 30-minute introductory video here:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcOX-ehRUIk&feature=youtu.be

Here is a list of past webinars that are available to view.

  • Identifying the difference between a mental health problem and a performance issue.
  • Best practices and lessons from other organizations in building mentally healthy workplaces.
  • Peer support in the workplace.
  • Contextual Management:  Working with someone experiencing a mental illness.

Please email Miranda Massie if you are interested in viewing any or all of the recordings.
