Thrive starts on Monday, Nov. 5. Thrive is a week dedicated to promoting positive mental health for all staff, faculty and students. The week is filled with a variety of events, hosted by partners all over campus, and we also have more online resources, including videos, this year. Here are some event highlights for staff and faculty:
Awareness of Workplace Mental Health and Workplace Influences
For UBC AAPS members, this workshop is a nationally recognized training from the Canadian Mental Health Association.
UBC BodyWorks is offering free access to their fitness centre and free classes throughout the week and a special deal on annual passes.
Nutrition Strategies to Boost the Immune System
A workshop on boosting your immune system through food choices. Be sure to register, as the topic is expected to be popular!
