UBC provides relocation and travel assistance to eligible faculty and senior management staff in accordance with Policy #82 – Relocation of Faculty Members and Senior Management Staff. For the past two years, UBC has contracted with Quality Move Management (QMM) to provide moving services for our faculty and staff. QMM offers the University competitive rates and has an excellent reputation for customer service and efficiency.
With the assistance of an independent relocation consultant, Ward O’Farrell, the University surveyed the faculty and staff who had used QMM’s services. After careful evaluation and consideration, we are pleased to announce that we have extended our contract with QMM through March 31, 2015. There will be a modest rate increase effective June 11, 2012, but the rates remain very competitive in the industry.
