New UBC staff or recently enrolled members of the UBC Staff Pension Plan are invited to attend a general info session on Wednesday, March 30 from 12 pm to 1 pm. The session provides a brief overview of the topics below:
Eligibility – How do I know I am eligible? Am I eligible?
Compulsory Enrollment – When will I be automatically enrolled?
Required Contributions – What am I contributing? How often do I contribute?
Pension Formula – How is my monthly pension determined at retirement?
Retirement Benefits – What pension options are available to me at retirement?
Termination Benefits – What happens to my pension if I leave UBC? What are my options?
