Caring for Aging Parents and Support Resources
With increasing numbers of aging baby boomers, more middle-aged adults find themselves caring for their aging parents. The form of care and degree of involvement varies according to need and circumstance. This reversal in the parenting role can give rise to emotions and stress among both the aging parents and the adult children.
Reaching out for additional help is often required, and awareness of available resources and some planning ahead of time can reduce the stress that comes with extra responsibilities. Read more on how to help aging parents.
We all know that life demands exist outside of work. Explore these suggested resources to help you and your family navigate elder care and caregiver support.
