Heat stroke symptoms include: fast pulse, short, rapid breathing and confusion. If you experience any of these symptoms, call 9-1-1 and immediately move to a cooler or shaded area.
It’s always a good idea to stay hydrated and it’s especially important when the temperatures of summer start rising. Whether you are on your vacation, running, hiking or just doing more outdoor daily activities, We have got some tips for you to stay hydrated during the warm weather.
Eat your water. Chowing down on water-filled foods like watermelon, it is an easy and refreshing way to keep hydrated.
Swap soda for sparkling water. Sparkling water is a healthy and fizzy, alternative.
Hydrate before exercising. Drink water prior to your activity to maximize your workout.
Drink water on the plane.
Stay hydrated at work. Even when working indoors, it’s important to keep the fluids handy.
Drink water before meals. Not only will you stay hydrated but you are less likely to overeat.
Have enough on hand. It is important to bring enough water to last during the trip.
Spice it up with healthy flavoring. If you are having a hard time getting enough water, add some lemon or lime, it will help you to drink more and feel refreshed.
Keep track of your daily water intake.
Keep a reusable bottle with you. Having a water bottle with you at all times is the easiest way to stay hydrated without even thinking about it.
