January 29th is UBC’s annual Suicide Awareness Day. Join us as outreach/awareness booths and street teams are situated across campus to promote the message of “Reach Out”, both to those seeking support, and those who recognize someone in need. Wear orange on January 29th to show your support for those people whose lives have been affected by the suicide of friends, family members, students or colleagues, and to show that you want to reach out to those who are considering suicide.
Don’t have any orange? We can send you and your colleagues Suicide Awareness Day buttons. Contact Miranda Massie for more information.
