Community Health Programs

Community health initiatives comprise a set of educational activities, action oriented research, communication and public health services focused on attention to UBC as a community.

As such, community health deals specifically with health protection through a focus on the management of risk factors in the work environment and development of proactive interventions including education campaigns, immunization clinics and pandemic planning and response.

Community health services are provided in conjunction with the Student Health Service and the Infectious Diseases Information and Advisory Committee (IDIAC).
