Re: Tentative Agreement on Collective Agreement for Faculty at UBC
We are pleased to announce that the three-year collective agreement (July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019) between the University and the Faculty Association has now been ratified by all parties with very strong support.
The agreement is consistent with the bargaining mandate for public sector employees and includes a number of positive changes that reflect the commitment of the parties to the interests of students and faculty at the University.
Changes to the collective agreement will be communicated on the Faculty Relations website and presentations will be scheduled within each faculty to explain the changes in greater detail.
Thank you to the bargaining teams for the Faculty Association and the University for their hard work and commitment to the bargaining process and success in reaching such a mutually beneficial agreement.
If you have questions or require more information, please contact Faculty Relations and ask to speak to the senior manager assigned to your faculty.
