The terms and conditions of faculty members, librarians and program directors in Continuing Studies are governed by UBC policies and, where applicable, the Collective Agreement with the Faculty Association.

The new Collective Agreement (PDF) between UBC and the UBC Faculty Association has been ratified, by both the UBC Board of Governors and the UBC faculty. All changes are effective on the date of ratification, (January 1, 2011, as agreed to by UBC and the UBC Faculty Association) unless otherwise noted. The new Agreement has a two-year term and expires on June 30, 2012. Several substantive changes were made to the Framework Agreement, the Salaries and Economic Benefits Agreement, and the Faculty component Agreement.
