Equitable & Competitive Staff Salaries
While salary is one of the most significant elements of the work experience – in essence the foundation – there are many other important elements of the total work experience, such as benefits, pensions, leaves, working conditions, and the nature of UBC itself, including its reputation and values.
Because of the number and diversity of jobs at UBC, the Compensation team uses their expertise to ensure that there is equitable and competitive pay for jobs across the University. To do this, we use two primary tools: job evaluation / classification and salary administration.
