- Purchase blueberries grown by a local farmer
- Enjoy blueberry pancake breakfasts, scones, muffins, crisp and tarts (by Swirls)
- On Wednesday (July 25) purchase UBC Farm produce and take in a cooking demo by Chef Steve Golob
- On Saturday (July 28) enjoy free face painting and balloon art for the kids.

Understandable that the first morning of the festival was a bit chaotic — line-ups, where to pay, etc. — BUT raspberry vinaigrette + a couple of blueberries does not “blueberry sauce” make. Just an FYI for tomorrow …
Compared to last year (the first day) this was a big mess. I felt for the staff, as it seems they were just as confused as the customers. Also, the blueberry ‘syrup’ was just atrocious. It was very vinegary and un-edible. I had to throw my pancakes away :( How sad.
