Each year, the President’s Office and Human Resources welcome UBC staff to the new academic year with the Welcome Back Staff BBQ (Vancouver campus). Held in September and produced by Ceremonies & Events, the event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a complementary lunch, live entertainment, information booths, and the camaraderie of your UBC staff colleagues.

Register for the BBQ with your department contact before Aug. 17, 2012.
If you registered for the BBQ, you will receive your lunch wristband from your department contact in advance of the event. If you missed registration and would like to attend, please bring your UBC Card with you to the registration booth on the day of the BBQ. A limited number of wristbands will be available at the registration booth for those who hold UBC staff appointments.

Nice bbq party I like it! If every company will have this kind of event the employee will have something to look forward to. It’s a perfect way to get acquainted with other employee in a different department.
