Vacation Entitlement for IUOE 882

Vacation entitlements for employee groups at UBC are based on University policy and the employee group’s collective agreement.

1st calendar year Employees must complete one full year of employment to be eligible for vacation
2nd to 4th year 3 weeks
5th to 7th year 4 weeks
8th to 17th year 5 weeks (in addition to this entitlement, after 14 years of service, 1 day is added for each additional year of service, up to 17 years of service)
18th year and beyond 6 weeks

The maximum vacation carry-over allowed for IUOE 882 staff is two weeks.
