SEB Benefits Eligibility: Faculty and Academic Executives

You are eligible for the Supplementary Employment Benefits (SEB) during your maternity, parental or adoption leave.

Birth mothers taking maternity/parental leave, birth fathers taking parental leave and adopting parents taking adoption leave must satisfy the following criteria in order to be eligible:

currently actively employed by UBC
your Employment Insurance (EI) benefits claim has been approved by Human Resources Development Canada
