Administrative Executive

The Income Replacement Plan (IRP) or Disability Benefit Plan (DBP) for Administrative Executive is an employee-funded plan that provides you with a monthly income if you are unable to work for six months or more due to illness or injury.

Either the Income Replacement Plan (IRP) or Disability Benefit Plan (DBP) is available to Administrative Executives and the one in which you enroll is determined by whether you are a member of the Staff Pension Plan or the Faculty Pension Plan.

You are a member of the Staff Pension Plan if you meet the criteria below:

  • a date of hire before Jan. 1, 2007 AND elected to enroll in the Staff Pension Plan, or
  • a date of hire on or after Jan. 1, 2007 (if you have an annual salary in excess of $149,815 for 2013 see below)

If you are a member of the Faculty Pension Plan, please click here for IRP information.

You are a member of the Faculty Pension Plan if you meet the criteria below:

  • a date of hire before Jan. 1, 2007 AND elected to enroll in the Faculty Pension Plan, or
  • a date of hire on or after Jan. 1, 2007 AND an annual salary in excess of the Staff Pension Plan maximum earnings ($149,815 for 2013)
