The benefits listed in the charts below represent only the benefits for which new Academic Executives must enrol through the online benefits enrolment process. There are other benefits and entitlements such as leaves, tuition waivers, Professional Development Reimbursement Fund (PDR) and vacation that don’t require an enrolment form.
The benefits Academic Executives are eligible for and when they come into effect depends on your age as of your date of hire (for example if you are hired prior to or after your Normal Retirement Date (“NRD”) (i.e. the June 30th or December 31st coincident with or following the date you turn age 65).

1) You are eligible for the following benefits if your date of hire is pre-NRD:

| Medical Services Plan | optional – first of the month on or after date of hire(If you are new to BC, you have a MSP “statutory waiting period” consisting of the balance of the month of arrival, plus two months) |
