General Information

Module: Manage Applicants and Openings
Page name:  Interview Schedule
Purpose: The use of this page is optional, except in the case of CUPE 2950 recall applicants. It is mandatory to interview these applicants, and they must be recorded on this page. Note that the use of the page is contingent on the interview team being defined on the Job Opening page. If you have not done this, you can add interviewers using the Add Interviewer hyperlink at the bottom of this page. However, if you add interviewers this way, these members of your interview team will not be able to see applicant resumes in Self-Service.If this is important, go back to the main Manage Applicants page and click the Job Opening Details hyperlink. Update the interview team in the job opening, return to the Manage Applicants page, and then return here.

You can record the interview schedule for applicants on an individual basis by using the “Take Action” field next to an applicant’s name. You can schedule interviews for multiple applicants by using the check boxes and Group Action drop-down list below the applicant list.

This feature does not integrate with your email system. However, you can choose to email both the interview team and/or the applicants. There are two check boxes available to make this selection.

Notify Interview Team Y Select this check this box if you want interview team members to be notified by email regarding their interview schedule.
Notify Applicant Y Select this check this box if you want the applicant to be notified by email regarding his/her interview schedule.
Interview Schedule
Interviewer ID Y The employee ID of each member of your interview team. This defaults from the interview team list recorded on the Job Opening page. You can add more interview team members by clicking the Add Interviewer hyperlink at the bottom of this page, or go back to the main Manage Applicants page and clicking the Job Opening Details hyperlink. Update the interview team in the job opening, return to the Manage Applicants page, and then return here.
Interviewer Name Y The name of each person on your interview team.
Interview Date Y The date of the interview.
Interview Type Y The type of interview. Indicate whether the interview is via phone or on campus.
Start Time Y The start time of the interview.
End Time Y The end time of the interview.
Location Y The location of the interview.

Hyperlinks and Buttons

Hyperlink/Button  Description
Add Interviewer Click this hyperlink to add a missing interviewer to your interview list. There are two drawbacks to adding interviewers using this hyperlink:
1. You will need the employee ID number.
2. Interviewers will not be able to see applicant resumes in self-service. If either of these are an issue for you, go back to the job opening and update your interview team there (go back to the main Manage Applicants page and click the Job Opening Details hyperlink. Update the interview team in the job opening, return to the Manage Applicants page, and then return here to schedule interviews.).
Save & Submit Click this button to save your interview schedule. If you have selected the check boxes to send emails to the interview team and/or the applicants, this will be done.
Cancel Click this button to cancel the work you’ve done on this page. You will be asked to save your work or abandon it.
Return to Previous Page Click this hyperlink to return to the main Manage Applicants page.
